Provide First Aid Refresher

This course is suitable for anyone that is required to renew / refresh their current Provide First Aid certificate (previously known as Apply First Aid or Senior First Aid).

Course Content:

Basic Life Support
CPR & AED
Shock Management
Asthma
Choking
Severe Allergic Reactions
Hyperventilation
Cardiac Emergency
Bleeding & Wounds
Burns & Scalds
Extremes of Heat & Cold
Poisons
Bites & Stings
Musculoskeletal Injuries
Altered states of Consciousness

This course incorporates the following Unit/s of Competency:

HLTAID001 - Provide CPR
HLTAID003 - Provide First Aid

This is a 1 Day refresher course consisting of 6 - 8 hours of face-to-face delivery. Participants who provide a copy of their current Apply First Aid certificate to be eligible to take the refresher course and have refresher fees applied.
